Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions about our services and offerings at Grupo Tort.

What is Tort Music & Sound?

Tort Music & Sound is a creative space in Barcelona that brings together a music academy, music production company, teacher training, space rental, and event organisation. We support musicians, students, teachers, and artists throughout every stage of their musical development.

We offer a wide range of music-related services:

  • Music academy for children, young people, and adults.
  • Management, production, and artistic direction services.
  • Audio services: recording, mixing, mastering, and more.
  • Original music for film, video games, and audiovisual content.
  • Teacher training in the Tort Method of music pedagogy.
  • Rental of rehearsal rooms, studios, and event spaces.
  • Concert organisation and music event production.
The Tort Method is a music education system created by pedagogue and composer César Tort in 1962. Its approach develops musicality naturally by integrating singing, movement, and instrumental practice from the earliest stages of childhood. With more than 12 books covering ages from 3 months to 14 years, it is based on sensory learning rather than solely intellectual learning.
